| I LOVE CAL.
I'm so proud and honored to be here.
Everyday, I wake up with a smile.. knowing that I am here and another magical day is ahead for me to discover.
I can't believe I'm nearly half way through college already.
There is just so much school pride. So much CAL spirit. So much passion. So much energy. So many great people here.
I LOVE IT.
and I want to thank everyone that has helped me reach it here.
I never got to thank the PLU alumni on my graduation day. You guys paved the way for all the classes after you. Everyone lives by your guys' legacy. Your guys' imprints left at school. Most of what has been accomplished in recent years has been a direct result of your guys' first steps into the sand. We walked in your guys' foot prints.
Just mentioning some of the impacts you guys have made to our school that will forever be followed:
Student Council, Youth Leadership, Chabot (Community Colleges), People to People Student Ambassador Program, Clubs, Community Service, Fund Raising events, Field Trips (Camping, Great America, Ice skating etc.), Tournaments etc.
It has been one hell of a ride, and I'm always proud to look back to see how much greatness the school has produced over the years.
My deepest thanks goes to all the past student council members.. but hands down and foreheads down to the floor to all past student council presidents of PLU.
I FUCKIN LOVEEEEEE IT HERE.
AND EVERY TIME IM ENJOYING MYSELF, I WISH YOU COULD ALL BE HERE WITH ME SO WE CAN SHARE ALL THIS WONDERFUL TIME TOGETHER AND CONTINUE THIS JOURNEY OF LIFE TOGETHER.

Teams are still subject to change.
However, there is a new proposal for the teams.
Team 1: Ian, Edward, Bryman, Arvin, Jeff, and Alice
Team 2: Engih, Jason, Steve, Dain, Steph, and (Ricardo or Kent) <- only one of them will fill the 6th slot

These will be the teams.
A decision will be made between Ricardo or Kent.
Albert and Jackie will be the refs for the game.

It has been a long time my friends.
As June approaches, memories have come to haunt me.*
It has been too long. Shall I say... WAY TOO FUCKING LONG. (yes, my exact emotions..)
I'm tired of all the hype that ends up leading to nothing these years because people can't make it.
To fix that.. I'm planning to have two different dates for Black vs. White.
One around mid-June and one around mid-August.
This allows people that may miss the first game to play in the second game.
What do you guys think?
So for the first one, I'm planning it to be one of the days between June 23-25.
Location: Either Daniel and Steve's neighborhood area in Union City (Around their grandparents' place) or Bernard White.
What do you guys think about having the game video recorded?
As we get older.. we begin to lose opportunities to come out and play each other. When we are old and busy, these will serve as memories for a lifetime. 10 years down the road, black and white may be gone forever so I don't know how many more years we have to play together.
The teams.
I was talking with Daniel until 3am-ish about the teams and other things.
We found that through these years, some teams have always been the same. This year, we are gonna mix it up a bit.
Team 1: Ian, Engih, Steve, Jeff, Alice
Team 2: Jason, Edward, Bryman, Daniel, Stephanie
However, I think some slight adjustments must be made. Since Bryman is now definitely a threat and a powerhouse in the game, it tremendously opens the options for a team both offensively and defensively. I don't mean to insult anyone, but I feel that the combo of Daniel and Bryman > Steve and Jeff. To fix that, Team 1 should take either one of them. If team 1 takes Bryman, Jeff should go to Team 2. If Team 1 takes Daniel, Steve should go to Team 2. In other words, Bryman and Steve have to be on the same team while Daniel and Jeff have to be on the same team.
I'll leave this decision to you guys. But if you guys feel that the switching is unnecessary, then the teams shall remain the same.
The teams can change if some people can't make it. We will ask people from school to take their roles. (Albert, Ricardo, Kent, Derrick? Jack? <-- if u want to play.. gotta gun it doggie jones. full court > half court :D)
If you cannot make it around June 23-25, please comment back on this page. If you guys feel that some other changes could be made, please give me feedback.
Let's make this year work. I don't want to be all hyped up and not have a game again. It's been two years. It's been two long.**

I realized that my sentence above "It's been two long" can't be more wrong than it is. AHJAHA. wow. I guess I was thinking about two years and too long at the same time. geez. what a mistake. TWO YEARS TOO LONG.
As for the logan proposal:
The reason why Logan wouldn't be a good idea is because the courts are not arranged the same as they used to be. Before, we could just select the farthest court from the entrance. However, now there are 3 entrances to the Logan courts, so our game cannot be isolated from the others. Since we may have music, people watching, and score keepers and stuff, an isolated place for us to play would be a better choice. We wouldn't have to deal with people giving us looks or people wanting to join the game... but getting rejected etc. We can save a lot of complications by going to some place isolated.
IMPORTANT Update:
June 16-20 doesn't seem to work with about 4 people now. (Bryman, Steph, Alice, Jeff, plu back up students, and score keepers etc.) I'm planning the date to be around the days of June 23rd to 25th. We cannot have the date later than the 25th because Edward would be unable to join. So one of the days between: June 23rd - 25th.
Question:
1. How do you guys feel if Arvin is added to the game? He can serve as a fine answer to Bryman. :D
2. Are you guys willing to chip in for some tapes or something for recording the game? It shouldn't be too costly. Or we can find some way to transfer it to each other at a cheaper cost? But are you guys ok with spending some money on this deal?
3. We may end up having 6 players on each team. Is it OK with you guys if there is one sub. for each team?
4. 15 minutes per quarter? 6 Fouls like nba or 5 fouls like college/high school? 3 or 5 seconds in the key for offense?
